7 Day Local Experience with Rafting and Jungle Safari
Looking for adventure activities that aren’t trekking or hiking in Nepal? Didn’t think it was possible? Think again.
Not many people think of Nepal when the topics of river rafting and jungle safaris come up in conversation. Chitwan National Park is one of the most stunning National Parks in the world and has been granted UNESCO World Heritage status. It is home to one of the last populations of single-horned Asiatic rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tigers, and Gharial Crocodiles.
Chitwan is also home to Trisuli River – one of the best places for white water river rafting. All while spectacular mountain ranges look down on you in their majestic glory.
This trip begins in ancient Kathmandu. A literal feast for the eyes, you will walk down cobblestone streets as you stare in awe at the picturesque architecture before coming across busy market stalls selling unique Nepali trinklets. We will take you to UNESCO World Heritage Sites and ancient monuments rich in history, religion and superstitious beliefs that go back hundreds of years in time.
Next, you’ll be on your way to the glorious Chitwan National Park where you will spend a few days in a luxury resort surrounded by stunning nature. Chitwan is the destination where you will partake in a thrilling white water rafting activity on Trisuli River and an exciting Jungle Safari through the National Park where you will hang out with rhinos, tigers and many more rare species found in the park.
Your tour of a lifetime will conclude with a complimentary farewell Nepalese dinner at one of Kathmandu’s famous eateries where, while enjoying your meal, you will be entertained to a fascinating cultural dance performed by the local women before departing to your onward destination.
